Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has offered to sell coal by Rail and Road mode to eligible buyers under Spot e-auction scheme in the spot e-auction event for the month of October 2020 for 54.15 lakhs tonnes by Road mode and 52 lakh tonnes by Rail mode. The e-Auction will be conducted by M/s. mjunction services limited, kolkata on 9th October 2020 for rail and road mode. The participants will have to register themselves with the Service Provider by visiting their websites, and the registration, which will be a continuous process, will be allowed for participation for only those whose EMD is available in the bidders a/c with the Service Provider M/s. mjunction services limited, Kolkata. The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) requirement for Spot e-Auction (Clause 2.5 of the Scheme) may be guided by CIL notice regarding ‘Continuation of the dispensation/modification for ease of doing business in the various provisions of e-Auction schemes’ issued by CIL. The buyers under the Spot e-Auction scheme will now have the option to go for the third party sampling facility, the details of which are available in MCL website.
Guidelines regarding revision in bid price on the date of supply based on revision in the Notified Price for spot e-auction, if any, has been notified in the MCL website .
