The first round of SSEA-IMS shall be conducted by Coal Companies within September 2020 for the period up to March 2021.
Kolkata, August 26: Coal India Ltd. (CIL) is going to conduct Special Spot e-Auction for Import Substitution Scheme (SSEA-IMS), for which all subsidiaries has been informed for the first round of e-Auction under SSEA-IMS.
Director (Marketing), CIL, has already informed and advised subsidiaries to first carry out Exclusive e-Auction from suitable sources and to offer balance quantity under SSEA-IMS.
The matter has been discussed in the 237th meet of CIL Functional Directors held on August 14, 2020, where it was decided that the e-Auction under SSEA-IMS shall be conducted by respective Coal Companies at their end, like other e-Auctions.
It is proposed to have the first round of Special Spot e-Auction (Import Substitution Scheme) by Coal Companies within September 2020 for the period up to March 2021.
