Coal assessment, meetings with different stakeholders and company’s managing committees among other agendas were carried out by the Director
New Delhi, August 29: Shri. S. N. Tiwari, Director (Marketing), CIL was on a two day visit to SECL on 27th and 28th August 2020. Visiting Gevra, Kusmunda and Dipka mines on the first day, he assessed the coal crushing and evacuation infrastructure available and suggested ways and means to further strengthen dispatch facilities and increase dispatch.
Shri. S. N. Tiwari, on the second day of his visit, chaired a Review meeting with the HODs in SECL headquarter, where he mainly emphasized on meeting the annual dispatch targets of SECL and consequently of CIL. Thereafter, he chaired a stakeholders meet with representatives of Sponge Iron, Cement and Aluminum company representatives. He heard their suggestions and assured them to assimilate those in the present system.
He then held a meeting with General Managers and Area Finance Managers from all SECL areas, briefing them about the future plans and called upon everyone to contribute like each year, or perhaps more to serve coal customers more and better. Finally, he expressed his satisfaction over the way SECL has triumphed over years and stood as the highest coal producing subsidiary of Coal India Limited.
