Ranchi, Oct.9: Chairman of Coal India Limited Pramod Agarwal, who is in a three –day Jharkhand visit for review meeting with Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) officials today flagged off Advanced Life Support Ambulances for critically ill patients.
The ambulance has multiple facilities for critically ill patients.
The top management of CCL including doctors was present during the flag-off ceremony of ambulances. Dr Suman Singh, HoD (Medicine), CCL explained to him about the facilities that a serious patient will get while traveling.
Altogether, seven multispecialty ambulances are endowed with numerous amenities like Defibrillator, infusion pump, oxygen cylinder regulator, portable suction pump, transport ventilator etc and will provide emergency advanced medical care to the patients during the critical emergencies.
The seven ambulances will be deployed at Gandhi Nagar Central Hospital,Ranchi, Ramgarh Central Hospital and at Central hospitals of Dakra and Dhori, Magadh Amrapali, Barka Sayal and Hazaribagh.
Earlier Agrawal held a review meeting in which CMD, CCL PM Prasad along with the Director Technical (Operations) Shri V. K Srivastava, Director (Finance) Shri N. K Agarwal, Director (Personnel) Shri Vinay Ranjan, CVO (additional charge) Shri S. K. Sinha, TS to Chairman, CIL Sri M K Singh, GM (TS to CMD) Sri M V Rajimwale, GMs/HODs from headquarters as well as Area GMs were present.
CMD Prasad first welcomed Sri Pramod Agarwal and briefed him about the performance of the company on all parameters through a powerpoint presentation. He further ensured the Chairman, CIL that his team is committed to meet the energy requirement of the Nation and its stakeholders.
CIL chairman Agarwal interacted with each Area GMs through video conferencing and motivated them to achieve their individual target of the areas so that the company meets its annual target. He also emphasized that to increase the coal production and coal dispatch in certain areas where there was less coal production and dispatch due to unavoidable situations.
Chairman Agarwal on the occasion also interacted with consumers of CCL and listened to their issues related to refund earnest money due to Covid-19 and increase of weighbridges for easy coal loading besides others.
