Dhanbad, August 11: In CMD meet through video conferencing held on Monday, Coal India Chairman Pramod Agrawal has asked CMD of all Coal India subsidiaries to increase dispatch along with production. The Chairman also instructed to produce quality coal by dealing safely with this rainy season and taking all precautions to fight coronavirus on priority.
“Increasing the dispatch needs special attention. He said that while accelerating the construction of new washeries, also ensure to meet the steel plants demands of washed coal. To meet the production target of 650 MT in this financial year we need to cooperate with everyone for the rest of the months,” Chairman added.
Bharat Coking Coal Ltd. (BCCL), CMD, PM Prasad, said, there has been an increase in production and dispatch after March. He spoke to the chairman to assist him in recovering the dues from the power companies.
The financial problem has increased in front of the company due to lack of realization. The chairman assured of his cooperation in this matter. Apart from the chairman, in CMD Meet, Director Technical (DT), Director Personnel (DP), CMD PM Prasad, DT Rakesh Kumar, DT Chanchal Goswami, DP PVKR Mallikarjuna Rao and Director Finance (DF), Sameeran Dutta, besides GM, were present at the headquarters.
