Central Coalfields Ltd. (CCL) CMD shared his mobile phone with public on Independence Day to make his coal company a ‘zero grievance company’
Ranchi, August 15: CMD of Central Coalfields Limited Gopal Singh, who is going to retire next year in January, today on the occasion of Independence Day made his mobile phone number 9334914344, publicly asking people to call him directly in case their grievances remain unheard.
He before sharing his number shared whatsapp number 18003456501 for registration of grievance for the first time and then second number 8987787665 in case the grievance remained unheard for 15 days after first information.
“In case by dialing the second number you do not get a solution for 15 days, call me directly. Better you send a message as on call you may not be able to share many things, “Singh said adding that he wants to make CCL a zero grievance company.
He said one need not to bribe anyone for justified work and asked to register even FIR also in local police stations if any unscrupulous elements create any problem and pollute the work atmosphere of the company by adopting dirty manipulative tactics to harass a bonafide person to earn illegal money.
Later Singh counters achievement of his company in CSR activities and said company’s ‘CCL ke lal’ scheme of
giving free coaching to dependents of CCL employees helped produce 112 engineers and Sports Academy helped train 450 budding sports talent from 24 districts of the state. He said the CSR activities will continue and committed to ensure safe drinking water in colonies of CCL.
He asked general managers to different areas to spare time for inspection of colonies and ensure proper cleanliness and arrangement of civic amenities.
He also released the first issue of the quarterly magazine of the company, Kayakalp, and declared an award for 10 security personnel for their outstanding performances.
CCL has observed independence day in the hall with due attention to social distancing.
