On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Ironman of India, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, National Unity Day was celebrated in Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), a subsidiary of Coal India on Saturday.
Floral tributes was paid to Bharat Ratna Sardar Patel on this occasion by CCL, Chairman cum Managing Director (CMD), PM Prasad, Director Technical (Operations), VK Srivastava, Director (Finance) NK Agarwal, General Managers-Hod’s, who are working in CCL headquarters. Similar programmes were organized in areas and other establishments.
CMD CCL administered “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge” to the employees. He read the pledge and others followed it including Directors. Addressing the employees, he said that Sardar Patel is one of the architects of modern India. He said that everybody should try to follow Sardar Patel’s ideals and principals.
Vigilance awareness week is being observed throughout the Country on the occasion of Sardar Patel birthday. Various programs have been observed throughout CCL to celebrate this occasion. In this quest a webinar was organized at CCL HQ by the vigilance department. Employees from different areas of CCL joined the webinar via video conferencing. Interactive discussions were held on different aspects of vigilance policies, achievements of vigilance departments and other topics including the departmental proceeding.
The webinar was presided over by the GM (Vigilance) AK Singh. Senior official of Vigilance Department addressing the employees and explained their in detail about the recent development related to rules and regulation of the company. Another programme of farewell ceremony for the superannuated employees was also organized.
All the safety protocols relating to Covid were followed. Everybody present wore masks and social distancing was practised.
