Purpose of CoalNet is to:
- Make India’s Economy Energy-ready;
- Promote consistent improvement in mining and sourcing of coal for the benefit of all people impacted by the industry, including workers and coal mining communities;
- Promote continuous improvement of sustainability, including social, environmental and ethical practices, in the coal supply chain.
