Experts say that the high demand for electricity in the first fortnight of the current month is due to the lower base effect of the same period last year. However, this clearly indicates an improvement in industrial and commercial activities.
However, with this, experts warn that as demand for Kovid-19 infection increases, industrial and commercial activities are affected, power demand may decline in the coming days.
