CCL observes Dispatch Days from Nov 1 to Nov 15

Central Coalfield Limited (CCL) a Coal India Subsidiary has been observing Dispatch Day from November, 1 to November, 15 to increase its dispatch of the company.

The company has recorded remarkable performance in dispatch even during the Corona epidemic period.

CMD CCL, PM Prasad said that the Company will equal its production target in November to what it has produced in 2019 and surpass the target in December.

Prasad said that the company is marginally behind last year and for many days the gap is persisting by one percent.

He further said that the company is expected to recover negative growth in the coming month that is November.

The CMD has been motivating its workforce since joining on September 1, 2020. He has visited almost all the areas of CCL and other establishments of the company.

He presided over a meeting with representatives of trade unions and stakeholders.

Magadh and Amrapali, one of the biggest coal producing areas, has touched coal production of about One lakh MT per day.

Piparwar, Bokaro and Karkagali and other mining areas of the company are contributing significantly leading to growth of the company.

The CMD said that the company is targeting to produce coal more than last year that is 67 Million Tonnes (MT). He further said that the company is doing well in dispatch of coal too.

The team of CCL has dispatched 16 rakes from Piparwar areas which is the highest number of rakes in fiscal 2020-21 for consecutives three days.

Magadh and Amrapali areas too have improved coal production and on single day it has dispatched 19 coal rakes which is also a record.

Chairman, Coal India, Pramod Agarwal has recently conducted a review meeting with CCL and issued necessary instructions for increasing coal production and dispatch of coal. He also conducted meetings with consumers and listened to their issues who urged to increase weight bridges in certain areas of the company.
