Coal India subsidiary Central Coalfield Limited (CCL) will promote skill development programmes in its command area under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to provide employment opportunities to youths living in the area.
In an interaction with media persons on Thursday CCL Director Personnel Vinay Ranjan said that various welfare programme running by CCL in its command areas under CSR such as CCL K Lal and Ladli, Hospital and Schools beside this the Company will stress on skill development so that the youths living in command area could get better job opportunity and the company has started some programme in this direction and in coming days the programme will be expanded.
Replying to a question on compensation jobs against death to relatives of the company’s employees, Ranjan said that the company will soon launch a new system so that the relatives of the dead employee could get the compensation as early as possible without any problem. It is true that in the present system the kin has to come run several places for their jobs for a long time but now the company is mulling over it soon the system will change so that relatives of dead employees could get the job easily, he added.
