CEA calls for meeting to discuss Import Substitution

The Member (Planning), Central Electricity Authority (CEA), which had earlier held three meetings with the power plants, MOP, MOC, M/O Shipping and CIL on 25.06.2020, 23.07.2020 and 07.08.2020 to discuss the requirement of domestic coal by the power plants along with other issues related to import substitution, has now called for a 4th meetings in this regard on 16th September, 2020 (Wednesday) at 11:30 am through Video Conferencing to discuss issues about status of implementation, signing of MOU, offer of requisite quantity and quality of coal by CIL, logistic issues, etc.
