BCCL assures of fulfilling the demand after looking into technical considerations

Dhanbad, August 28: A delegation of All India Diploma Engineers and Officials Association (AIDEOA) met PM Prasad, CMD of BCCL and handed over a seven-point demand letter, including promotion of mining supervisors to headquarters level. The delegation was headed by AIDEOA National President SR Chaurasia and National General Secretary RK Tiwari. The delegation handed over a demand letter to DP PVRK Mallikarjuna Rao also.

As per the cadre scheme in the demand letter, promotion of Mining Supervisors up to E-5 grade, to give diploma overmen the benefit of one-time seniority as per letter of CIL, payment of charge allowance arrears, Mining Supervisors’ grade promotion to company level so that no junior can become a senior of his senior and transparency should be maintained, the mining chieftain and overman officer to be authorized B type quarter according to the CMR, giving notional seniority to them who is a diploma holder in grade C for 7-8 years to ensure his career growth, Regularize Junior Overman hired in T&S Grade C and having completed two years provide annual increments along with earned leave, were the demands included in the letter.

In the light of the delegation’s demand letter, the CMD said that the diploma holder overman’s name to give the benefit of notional seniority will be sent for once. He assured to meet the demands after taking technical consideration on all other aspects. The delegation included AIDEOA National President SR Chaurasia, General Secretary RK Tiwari, Executive Chairman Neelkanth Akela, Joint Secretary Ashok Kumar Saw and Sanjay Sahu.
