Ranchi, August 8: For a long while, issues of jobs, pay and displacement between NTPC, Triveni soldiers and nearby villagers in Barkagaon are presently going to be settled. On this initiative, Barkagaon MLA, Amba Prasad, a meeting will be held on August 8 at Barkagaon Block Headquarters to determine the grievances identified with the land procured for the NTPC venture. It will be headed by North Chotanagpur Divisional Commissioner. Hazaribagh DC, Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad, NTPC Executive Director will be present.
At the request of NTPC, AGM, DGM and AGM HR have also been allowed to be present. It may be known that Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad met the Chief Minister and made a 12-point demand. After this a 4-member committee was formed under the chairmanship of Commissioner North Chotanagpur. In the committee constituted, Commissioner North Chotanagpur was made chairman and Deputy Commissioner Hazaribagh, MLA Barkagaon and NTPC executive chairman.
